Meet Jeannique: Founder and Owner

Hi everyone! My name is Jeannique, owner of Empower Kidz Drop-In! I’m better known in the community as Dr. J, founder of Empower Family Chiropractic.

My transition into motherhood has escalated my awareness of the desperate need for more playcare options than are currently offered in our Lake Travis community for both working parents and stay-at-home parents. This didn’t exist, so I decided to create it!

I look forward to seeing the excitement of other parents of small children in my community about an opportunity that allows for more date nights, running quick errands, or starting up a self-care routine, all while knowing that their child is in a safe, clean, and fun play-based environment! Meet Nina Garcia: Director

Hey everyone! I'm Nina, the director here at Empower Kidz Drop-In!

I have lived in the Lakeway / Lake Travis area for over 15 years and have dedicated the last 17 years of my career to childcare and early education.

Throughout my journey, I’ve served as a teacher, assistant director, and director, gaining a deep passion for nurturing children’s growth and supporting families.

Outside of work, I’m a big sports fan who loves football and baseball, proudly cheering for the Texas Longhorns and the Dallas Cowboys.

In my free time, I enjoy fishing, listening to audiobooks, working out and spending quality time with boyfriend, family and friends.
